Privacy Policy

At New Gardener Ltd we are committed to safeguarding and preserving the privacy of our visitors. This privacy policy explains what happens to any personal data that you provide to us, or that we collect from you whilst you visit our site.

We may update this policy from time to time so please do review this policy regularly.

Information We Collect

In operating our website we may collect and process the following data about you:

1. Details about your use of our site and the resources that you access including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data and other communication data.

2. Information provided voluntarily by you such as when you register for information or make a purchase.

3. Information that you provide when you communicate with us by any means.

Use of Your Information

The information that we collect from you is used to carry out our contractual obligations to you. This enables us to process your order and to provide after sales service (we may pass your details to another organisation to supply/deliver products or services you have purchased and/or to provide after-sales service). Additionally, we may use this data to provide you with information that you request from us relating to our products or services; to provide information to you relating to other products that may be of interest to you, where you have consented to receive such information; to notify you of any changes to our website, services or products.

Where you have added items to your shopping basket and then abandoned your cart before making payment, we may use legitimate interest to contact you and help you in completing your order. This is to help with any queries or issues you may have with placing your order. Our legitimate interest is necessary as we want to ensure your shopping experience is as problem-free as possible and can only reasonably do this by contacting you using the email address you provided at the checkout stage. In these circumstances we will only email you regarding the items in your abandoned cart and alert you to the fact that you have not yet paid for your items. Such contact will be minimal. Such emails are not advertising or marketing but are intended as a reasonable customer service function to help you with a purchase that you appear to want. We will never try to pressurise you to complete a purchase. You can ask us to not send you such emails at any time.

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer credit card details with any third parties.

Following your order, we will retain details of your order to enable us to comply with our legal obligations such as document retention for tax and accounting purposes.

Where you opt to create an account with us, we will retain the data you provide for this purpose to make your future browsing of our site more convenient for you (e.g. speeding up checkout, managing your wishlists, viewing order history etc.). You are able to edit these details whenever you want or you can ask us to delete your account if you no longer require it.

Storing Your Personal Data

We may transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the United Kingdom for processing and storing. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated and stored securely.

The sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and we can therefore not guarantee the security of data sent to us electronically. Transmission of such information is entirely at your own risk. Where you have been given (or where you have chosen) a password so that you can access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.

Disclosing Your Information

We will not disclose your personal information to any other party other than in accordance with this privacy policy and in the circumstances detailed below:

1. Where we sell any or all of our business to a third party;

2. Where we are legally required to disclose your information;

3. To further fraud protection and minimise credit risk.

Third Party Links

We may include links to third parties on this website. Where we provide a link, it does not mean that we endorse or approve that site’s policy towards visitor privacy. You should check their privacy policy before sending them any personal data.

Access to Information

You have the right to access any information that we hold about you in many circumstances. Before providing personal information we may ask for proof of identity and sufficient information about your interactions with us so that we can locate your personal information.

You can object to us processing your personal information if we are not entitled to use it any more, to have your information deleted if we are keeping it too long or to have its processing restricted in certain circumstances.

Please contact us at if you wish to exercise these rights.
