The Garland Duogrow Self Watering Planter Linking Kit contains all the essential components needed to link two Duogrow Self Watering Planters (sold separately) together via the Smart Reservoirs. This convenient system allows you to water both planters by simply adding water to one of the Smart Reservoirs. Once connected, the water will flow evenly across both units, ensuring consistent hydration for your plants.
The Smart Reservoirs are designed to fill equally across all connected planters when placed on a flat, level surface. This guarantees an even water distribution, promoting healthier plants. The system is also infinitely extendable, allowing you to connect more planters as your garden grows. Whether you have two planters or more, this kit offers a simple and effective solution for maintaining your plants' watering needs.
To install, begin by selecting a flat area for your Duogrow Self Watering Planters. Remove the blanking plug from the end hole of each Smart Reservoir. Place the washers over the two connector spouts and insert them through the hole in each Smart Reservoir. Secure the connectors with the nuts on the outside of the reservoirs, ensuring they are hand tightened without over-tightening. Screw the root filters into the end of the connectors inside the reservoirs of both units, again avoiding over-tightening. Next, attach the hose to the connector on one unit and place it in your chosen location. Then, connect the second unit to the other end of the hose, ensuring it is securely attached. Your Smart Reservoirs are now linked and ready for use.
For additional planters, simply repeat the connection process to extend the system as needed.
