The Bamboo Seed Tray from Haxnicks is a great, natural addition to your indoor garden. This sustainably produced tray is made from bamboo fibre, rice starch and resin made from naturally occurring, organic compounds. It is free from petroleum based plastics and BPA, and is fully biodegradable. The tray is perfect for starting seeds and growing microgreens. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For use indoors, there are no drainage holes, however if you would like holes, simply push out the pre-marked holes on the underside of the tray.
Much like Haxnicks' range of bamboo pots and saucers, this seed tray has a lifespan of 5+ years and can be composted when you no longer need it. Simply soak it in water for 24 hours and then break it up and throw it on the compost pile. It may take 6-12 months to break down fully, then this can be used to add nutrients back into your garden.
